The Spectre of the Anon

I find more and more that people who I admire online invoke the spectre of an online anonymous right wing they're lowkey sort of apologizing to whilst trying to shed.

Whether it's a podcaster saying ‘We’re gonna lose some listeners for this one’ or people expressing general frustration about a take that is supposed to be some kind of dissident consensus.

The annoying thing for me is I never hear about any of what they reference outside of their frustration with it.

I understand a lot of people are new to this stuff oost COVID and they're behind on having to determine who is and isn't a waste of time to entertain or take seriously but rightoid dorks are not people worth even considering when you're curating content. Or creating it, I guess.

None of them are serious people.
